"I would like to highly recommend Butler Rock Ranch, with Randy Ledvina, Owner/Operator. I purchased a three-day elk hunt at the winter SCI show in Stevens Point, Wisconsin last year. My wife, Joyce, and I spent October 5-8, 2006, as guests of Randy and his wife, Anne. We also had the pleasure of getting to know their son, Sam. I have taken some wonderful hunting trips, not only in the United States, but also in South Africa and New Zealand. However, I was very pleased to discover that right here in Wisconsin there is a fantastic hunting experience that’s close enough for everyone to enjoy. I’m referring to Butler Rock Ranch! Randy took us out to a hunting stand at about 3:00 PM on the day we arrived. By 4:15, my wife was taking photos of my beautiful bull elk, a fantastic trophy that scored 386!! Never did I dream of finding such a trophy elk, especially in so short a time. Not only was the hunting exceptional, but the accommodations and hospitality were second to none. We stayed in a beautiful log lodge that’s situated in a picture-postcard setting. The beautiful landscaping and manicured lawns, together with a split-rail fence that surrounds the property, provide an atmosphere of peace and tranquility that is second to none. It was a real pleasure just to spend our non-hunting time enjoying our surroundings. In summary, our experience at Butler Rock Ranch has made beautiful memories that we will never forget! If you’re looking for a phenomenal elk hunt within easy travel distance, contact Randy Ledvina. You won’t be sorry!"

Kip Williams of Green Bay successfully hunted a trophy Red Stag at Butler Rock Ranch in September 2010.

Randy Ledvina, owner, and guide at Butler Rock Ranch booked my hunt, He took care of everything from guiding to necessay arrangements to get my trophy animal transported to the meat processor and taxidermist.

Randy runs a first class hunting preserve. When you hunt at Butler Rock Ranch, you don't realize you are in a high fence setting.

Randy took me into the preserve. On our way in, I saw several elk and a couple nice white tails. The Red Stag remained elusive. When I finally saw the Red Stag, my heart started pounding, and my andrenalin kicked in. I took my time, waited for my shot... The rest is history.

Nice job, Randy!

That one white tail sure looked nice, I may be back, yet this season.
